Emerald Loop RFQ The Emerald Loop Shelter at Town Common is one component of the larger Emerald Loop Vision Plan. Conceptually, the Emerald Loop is a necklace connecting Greenville’s existing and envisioned cultural gems, while simultaneously bringing together the city’s neighborhoods and community. More literally, the “Loop” is a multimodal circuit encouraging pedestrian traffic within the inner loop and vehicular traffic on the outer loop. |

Pottery Coordinator Position Emerge Gallery & Art Center is seeking a part-time Pottery Coordinator. The Pottery Coordinator will exercise strong communication skills, organizational skills, and upkeep of the studio in order to maintain an outstanding, welcoming resource for the community. While working directly with the Education Coordinator, the Pottery Coordinator will ensure safe equipment and a cohesive vibrant working environment. |

Art Instructors Emerge Gallery & Art Center is currently seeking art instructors to teach Spring Break Art Camp, Summer Camps, Birthday Parties, Group Art Activities, Private Lessons, Adult Weekly Classes, and more! We are seeking instructors to teach painting, film, photography, textiles, metal design, pottery, hand building, printmaking, mixed media, and other mediums. Strong professional and interpersonal skills are required. Must have a strong arts background and education. This is a contract labor position and instructors are hired as opportunities arise. Black Creatives of Pitt County The Black Creatives of Pitt County is made up of artists living, working, and playing in Pitt County. The group is made up of artists who are interested in literary, performing, and visual arts, however it is not limited to these. All are welcome. |
The Tiny Art Show The Tiny Art Show is an annual exhibition and fundraiser during the month of February. All pieces must not exceed 5”x5”x7” in any direction. Downeast Sculpture The DownEast Sculpture Exhibition is an annual exhibition. The indoor portion of this exhibition is displayed in the Don Edwards Gallery during the month of March. The outdoor portion of this exhibition is featured for a year throughout Pitt County from March to the following February. |
YOUTH ARTS FESTIVAL The Youth Arts Festival will feature over 50 visual artists' booths where children can participate in creative activities making their own masterpieces. There will also be performing based activities including puppet making, storytelling, music, and theater interactive activities. The Youth Expressions Talent Show will be open for ages 5-18. |
