Following in the footsteps of Rauchenburg and the Pop Artists, I am interested in the interplay between iconography and the use of non- traditional artistic mediums. As an artistic process, I love the explorative value of using vinyl, fiberglass and plastics and their respective properties and am challenged by the ability to recreate iconoclastic images that are grounded in materials whose primary use is utilitarian.
