Emerge Gallery & Art Center is dedicated to making a difference our community.

For every five paid programs, such as classes, we offer Emerge pledges to offer at least one completely free program targeted towards disadvantaged and/or at-risk youth. Consists of three different programs: Public Art Project, Scholarship Program, and an Afterschool Art Program.

Emerge offers After School Arts Clubs in area Pitt County Schools.

Here at Emerge we believe that volunteerism is vital for healthy, thriving community. Emerge staff, board members, and students also volunteer their time at various community events. Many times you will find us at a local event working with children to try the potterís wheel or create sidewalk murals. Check our calendar of events to see where we will be next!
