Summer Camp Counselor (seasonal)
Emerge Gallery & Art Center is currently seeking a Summer Camp Counselor to assist with our Summer Art Camps. We offer 10 weeks of camp from June 3 to August 16, skipping the week of July 4.
Minimum Age: 18 years old
Pay: $15 hourly
Shift and Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
- Assist Education Coordinator with daily guidance of campers ages 3 – 16
- Assist Instructors
- Actively Participate with Campers
- Assist with Facility Cleaning
- Oversee Snack and Lunch Time
- Maintain Attendance and any other required paperwork
- Assist with daily guidance of Volunteers
- Previous experience is preferred but not required
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certifications is preferred but not required
- Acting as a Role Model for Campers
- Presenting a Mature Professional Demeanor
- Working in a Team Environment
- Understand and Abide by Emerge Gallery & Art Center’s Policies and Procedures
- Understand and Follow Oral and Written Instructions
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID
- Background Check Upon Request
Summer Camp Instructors
Emerge Gallery & Art Center is currently seeking art instructors to teach Summer Camps! We are seeking instructors to teach painting, photography, textiles, metal design, pottery, hand building, printmaking, mixed media, and other mediums. This is a contract labor position and instructors are hired as opportunities arise. Other teaching opportunities such as birthday parties, adult classes, group activities, workshops, spring break and summer camps, and weekly classes may be available. Starting pay rate is $15 per hour.
